2027 Spring Landscape Stories
Landscape Stories gives a visual overview of how we can photograph the world around us. Taking a broad idea of what landscape photography can be, it expands from historical ideas of landscape to take in the local, the urban, and the historically ‘exotic’ landscape.
It looks at some of the key photographers and ideas that have shaped how we see the world today and also presents a global, pluralist outlook on both the wonderful expressive and artistic qualities of the photographic image, as well as its darker side.
If you haven’t studied photography before this is a great and accessible introduction to its past and present theory and practice.
And if you have studied photography before, this will be an engaging reminder of what you are missing.
